LARMZ's UCLA/usc Game Music Video . . .Along the lines of my UCLA Basketball Championship run . . . I know it's a little cheesy and the intro is too long . . . But, I think you will all enjoy this . . . Believe it or not, ths song I used in the video is the song that I heard in my head during the game . . . (and apparently, I put the wrong date, but I'll fix that)
Larmz's UCLA/usc Game Video PS: Special thanks to Bob for the higher quality mpeg file. PPS: Download the file if you can (it's wmv and only 34 mbs). I have higher quality versions as well (high quality wmv (200 mb) and a huge avi (2 gb)). ENJOY!
Larmz, you are amazing. Seriously, this is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen =). What's the song from btw?
Thanks . . .Glad you enjoyed it. They are fun to make . . .
The music is from my all-time favorite single movie (i.e., movie that isn't a part of a triology!) . . . Gladiator (And it's just so fitting!)
I am at work, but knowing what fine work you did on the basketball video, I couldn't wait to watch this. It is spectacular Larmz! Great use of music, and good synchronization of images to the music too. Once I get home, it will be downloaded onto my computer to save for eternity.
Oh man. That was friggan beautiful, your ending made me break down and start crying with joy like I did when I was on the field that day. In fact, you can see me walking around dazed on the field in the second to last scene with the UCLA flag and the band, I'm the big bass drum. As a graduating fifth year, and probably the biggest UCLA fan in the band, this win meant everything to me. I would LOVE to have the higher quality ones. Thanks for doing this, I'm definitely going to watch this over and over.
Larmz,
Great Job!!!! It was perfect. Hopefully, the kids on the team will see this. Someone close to the program needs to clue them in. It was very moving and in emotional terms, captures the spirit of that win. The hero(s) win against overwhelming odds. Thanks.
I could just facebook a handful of guys on the team and it'd probably disseminate from there. But I would want to wait until it said Dec 2 2006 before we show the team
Date's Been Fixed!Sorry about that!
RE: a HD Version -- I would have loved to create the same thing with an HD version -- my basetball video was HD -- but, no one had the HD version for me to use! Now to go back and re-create it with HD if I ever get it would be a tremendous amount of work . . .
nice.....got me to tears almost...worth seeing again and again....
That was a thing of beauty.
I'd love a copy of the hi-res wmv once you change the date. Much thanks. UCLA, Class of '95

Larmz, thank youThat was simply beautiful and I teared up. I am so proud of that win as a Bruin and you captivated the essence of how happy and emotional it made people and that team. I hope the Athletic Dept. gets a hold of that for Dorrell and the team to see. Was that the soundtrack to the 'Gladiator' movie? Thanks again. Go Bruins!
SERIOUSLY that was epic!I mean really f**in' fantastic. I have never seen anything quite like this - the music seems written to the video sequence around 5:55 (true cinematography style) and the slow motion shot right before the interception with the music change is really emotional.
I KNOW I am going to watch this over and over again for years to come.
ok that was awesome.
i'm speechless. wow. just ... amazing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
